Today I chose to spend 2 hours doodling Utena fanart and it was lovely.

Hey, did you hear? Yeah, that patient died yesterday. Poor guy! And he was really cute, too. And in the hospital he kept saying how much he wanted to fence again. He apparently knew how sick he was but he still insisted on leaving the hospital and going back to school. There must have been a girl in the fencing club he loved! That reminds me, he used to say something a lot. He wanted to give the power to grant miracles to the one he loved. He wanted to free her from something. Free her- What’s that mean? Who knows…? This scene…. this scene is always sad to watch. I felt so bad for both juri and ruka.. Its even sadder that juri never realized that he loved her or what his true intent behind everything was.

Jerk or not, I love ruka! juri as well! He&#8217;s probly one of the few characters in Utena to truly act out of love, despite it being done with some manipulative intent..
