miss these three*
Imagine if TLC had never came to have been? The group would have been known as 2nd Nature if they hadn’t have changed a few things. “2nd Nature” featured “T.Boz”, “Lisa Left Eye Lopes" & "Crystal Jones”.
According to reports Crystal Jones was replaced by Rozanda “Chilli" Thomas because she didn’t fit the vision the label had for the group.
Whatever happened to Cyrstal Jones?
Crystal could last be seen in 2006 attempting to make it as a voice over artist. But it seems she quit.
Her profile on herself as follows:
I wend to a performing arts school and there I learned to be creative and have applied it through my life. While interacting with people on various levels. I also created one of Americas Top Selling Girl Groups based out of Atlanta,TLC.
My personal comment on the original TLC:
Well sometimes things don’t really work out how you want them to. If Chilli hadn’t have joined the group the songs might have not worked out. Chilli’s voice evened out the group in major songs such as “Aint To Proud To Beg" & "Baby Baby Baby”. Now i’ve never heard any demo’s from the original TLC/2nd Nature but i just know that it just probably wouldn’t have worked out.
Signature Style: TLC
TLC is back! TLC will be reuniting with special guest Lil Mama filling in for the late Lisa “LeftEye” Lopez for the Mixtape Festival happening today and July 27th. Not only is the “best-selling girl group of all time” performing together again but they will also be releasing a new album October 15 featuring their classic hits and also some new material, including a song written by Lady Gaga and Dallas Austin called “Posh Life” and “Meant To Be” written by Ne-Yo. Let’s not forget the anticipated biopic film presented by VH1 entitled “CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story,” that will be premiering October 21.
With so much awesome stuff happening in the future for one of the greatest girl groups of all time, one may can’t help but to think about the days when TLC was first discovered. Not only are they known for their global success, great music and awesome music videos, but their spunky fashion sense that set them apart from so many others in their lane.
Dressed in bright neon colors, over-sized clothing and Doc boots, they created the tomboy-chic trend that so many young stars still rock today. Not only were they creative and unique with their fashion choices, they also send a message to their fans that you don’t have to dress overly-sexy to be stylish! They always knew how to combine sex appeal with that tomboy edge, which became a staple style in the 90’s for females. Their style was spunky, creative, wild and went great with their “in your face” attitude! They carried the right swag to pull this look off and until this day inspire many female acts in the game. Their signature style will always and forever be apart of pop culture history.
TLC had it going on
The New Aesthetic isn’t Tupac doing it, the New Aesthetic is everyone doing it.
They really ought to stop, let and let lisa rest in peace.. :/
Im kinda shocked they’d do this..
