I was super into Fern Gully when I was a kid, so when I saw it was on Netflix I had to take a break and watch. Pretty sure the last time I saw it was well over 10 years ago! It’s still really great.

And very 90s.

Lexxy yes WOW.  Beautifully done.

ahhh homeward bound was such a great movie

Ah yes Rasputin was a great villian haha

oh man this takes me back!!!!!! I loved this movie as a kid I’d watch it any chance I got!

wvnderbar:

people make the fuss over really really small subtle details in kids movies and shows, like there not being any black people in brave and the “”“vulgar”“” language in regular show and stuff like that. they were so much more relaxed about it like 10 years ago. just look at the powerpuff girl.

the main villain was a crossdressing devil lobster

people nowadays would shit a chicken if another androgynous satanic crustacean was on a kid show

This is the main reason why kids shows today completely suck. thanks to soccer moms and soccer dads ruining all the fun..

lmfao “no black people in brave”-well what the fuck!

who doesn’t?

This is my favorite scene from Ren & Stimpy, and one of the most interesting animation sequences in general. I feel this would be flagged as inappropriate for a kid’s network almost immediately today. It’s rather dark, but I don’t recall necessarily seeing it that way when I was young. I just thought Ren was silly, and had a temper…

I must say, of all the cartoons/animated shows Ive ever watched anime included- this was the only show and this was the one scene that truly captures the truer nature of psychosis in such a moving and realistic manner. Not to mention leaving you a chill down your spine and the complex afterthought of how they allowed this to be shown on a kids network back in the day. This is my favorite all time ren & stimpy scene as well..
