and I will say that honeslty in the beginning, it was kinda difficult to get a grasp of squalo’s character and even try to analyze him being that there’s so little to his character or background. We never really see things from his perspective and get inside his head for a bit. Plus a lot of his characterization is really vague or contradicting. This goes for a lot of the other characters in reborn! 

This is while I love analyzing characters, we’ve got to remember not to take KHR too seriously because this manga runs on vulcan logic no.1 and 2 the characters are very exaggerated and enough as is..
